The HiSET® (the High School Equivalency Test) exam is a high school equivalency testing program that will help you take the next step toward a college degree or a rewarding career.

The test covers five (5) areas:

  • Social Studies
  • Science
  • Language Arts Reading
  • Mathematics
  • Language Arts, Writing (with a short essay)
ESL CLASSES:

Day and Evening classes are available for adults to learn or improve their English speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and pronunciation.

Cost: Free

Morning ESOL classes meet 9:00 - 12:00 a.m. Boys and Girls Club Manchester, on Monday/Wednesday & Tuesday/Thursday,during the school year.

Evening ESOL classes meet from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Central High School Practical Arts Building on Monday/ Wednesday & Tuesday/ Thursday, during the school year.
